Swine Flu....is todays Big Business.

advertisement

Yes ...flu and politics do mix.....with big business at the helm.
Can you even name anything that is competing more for medical attention than flu? Hospitals filled to capacity. Dr offices full. Waiting in lines for shots. Nothing.....nothing .......will drag Americans out in all weather quicker than these words.....running out of supplies. Of what? Of anything.
People who had no plans to get the shots ran out at once stood in line .....because there was a news story to say .....few shots available.

Americans for some reason think...if it is nearly gone...it must be damn good.

Short supply means ....hurry buy it up fast.

You may ask..."what is it ?" I will answer ..'what difference does it make...we will soon be running out..."

However on a very serious note....people are dying.

If we Quarantined people as we once did it would have been over by now...or perahps not spread at all if it is a quarantined situation from the start.
There are many reasons not to quarantine. Schools recieve funding for filled chairs and numbers in attendance. Half alive counts as one.
Employment can be terminated for lack of attendance. College credits lost if failure to appear in classes. Jail time if no doctors excuse for no court appearances .
But most important when you are not out spreading germs ...you are not out spreading cash.
Cash ladies and gentlemen....cash. If you still have a dollar and /or a credit card that works......dont you dare die.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.
